- The tour fees for our guides. Our tour guides are well educated, caring, and professional. Most of them have their PhD's in Church history, archeology, philosophy, languages, or Theology.
- Luggage handling. Please pack light, one piece of luggage and one carry-on.
- Dress casually throughout the whole trip. Shoulders and knees should be covered when visiting Basilicas or churches.
- If you are traveling alone and you allow us to find you a roommate, you don't pay the $1,200.00 single supplement. If you wish to have your own room and you are not open to rooming with another passenger, then the single supplement fee is $1,200.00. Single rooms are limited and subject to availability, please let us know at the time of registration so we can secure the room. Triple rooms are not available for the night of the Passion Play May 15-16, 2022.
- Taxi and wheelchair can be provided for those passengers who cannot walk, with prior notice at registration and payment of $150. A traveling companion has to push the wheelchair throughout the trip.
- Remember: Our trips are not more expensive during high season ~ Passengers will never be expected to pay extra for anything while on the trip.

May 13 - Day 1: Fly to Munich, Germany
May 14 - Day 2: Upon arrival we meet our tour guide and driver who will accompany our group throughout.Time to rest or to start exploring, we will celebrate Mass before checking in to our hotel for dinner and overnight in Munich.
May 15 - Day 3: This morning, we celebrate the Holy Mass at Ettal Abbey. We continue on to Oberammergau area for our check-in to the hotel. In the afternoon, we take part in the extravagant Oberammergau Passion Play, performed only once every ten years and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Beginning in the afternoon and involving almost all residents of the village, the play has a running time of approximately five hours with a three-hour intermission. Explore this quaint Bavarian village on your own. Most of the buildings have beautifully detailed murals on them, mostly of Biblically significant tableaux. Dinner and overnight in Oberammergau.
May 16 - Day 4: Following breakfast, we board our coach and depart for Munich, stopping at Dachau concentration camp on the way. Once we arrive in Munich our tour guide will lead us to the major and most beautiful sights, such as King's Square with its three temple buildings in the classical Greek style, the Pinakotheken Art Museums, the Hall of Generals, the Angel of Peace monument, Maximilianeum (Bavarian state parliament), the Royal Palace, the traditional Viktualienmarkt, an open air food market with colorful outdoor stalls, Karl Square (called "Stachus") and the medieval city gates, Palace of Nymphenburg - former summer residence of the Bavarian kings, the Rathaus and its famous Glockenspiel. Time on our own to stroll the Marienplatz, with its numerous shops, visit the fresh produce and flower markets and the world-famous Hofbräuhaus Restaurant complete with authentic Bavaria food, music and entertainment. and overnight in Munich.
May 17 - Day 5: Today, we tour the elaborate Neuwschwanstein Castle, one of Mad King Ludwig's fantasy castles and surely the crown jewel of Bavaria Castles. Then on to visit the Wieskirche (Church in the Meadows) where rococo art reached a unique perfection. This masterpiece, created by the brothers Dominikus and Johann Baptist Zimmermann of Wessobrunn, was given international recognition as a cultural site on the World Heritage List. We celebrate the Holy Mass. We return to our hotel for dinner and overnight in the Füssen area.
May 18 - Day 6: After breakfast travel to Weimar, we will walk to Market Square with its Renaissance houses and the Town Hall. Dinner and overnight in medieval Rothenburg with its ramparts and towers, cobblestone lanes, and 16th-century houses. Hear how the town survived the Thirty Years’ War, and shop for Christmas ornaments.
May 19 - Day 7: After breakfast, depart for Dresden, former capital of Saxony. Badly damaged by Allied bombing in February 1945, the city has since been restored to its baroque splendor. During your walking tour, visit the Zwinger Palace courtyard to admire its impressive architecture; the magnificent baroque Semper Opera, originally built in 1841, once destroyed by fire, then destroyed by bombing, and finally restored in 1985; and the newly rebuilt Frauenkirche. Dinner and overnight in Dresden.
May 20 - Day 8: Following breakfast, Sightseeing in the once-divided metropolis includes the elegant Ku’damm, the restored Reichstag, Charlottenburg Palace, a picture stop at monumental Brandenburg Gate and the Holocaust Memorial, and the 210-foot Victory Column in the vast Tiergarten park. Visit the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Chiurch with its bomb-damaged tower, drive along Unter den Linden boulevard, and pass the State Opera House and Checkpoint Charlie. Dinner and overnight in Berlin.
May 21 - Day 9: We are transferred to the airport for our flight home to the USA.
Please note: We do our best to ensure that all sites listed in this itinerary will be seen. However, due to scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances beyond our control, sites may be visited on a different day than listed. If this happens it will also necessitate a change in the restaurant for dinner. However, we will never sacrifice the quality of the meal, all restaurants will meet Proximo Travel's very high standards. Since we have several different trip configurations touring at the same time, it is likely that groups on different tours will be combined when their itineraries overlap in certain areas.
