- Single Supplement (as long as the passengers is willing to room with someone and allows us to provide them with a roommate. If the passenger wants a guaranteed room to of their own, then they have to pay the $900 single supplement)

Steps for Registration
- Call us (855) 842-8001 or register online with a credit card and pay your $500 deposit per person to save your spot. The $500 deposit is part of the total price of the trip
- A $1,000 Airfare Deposit (AD) per person is due one month from the registration. The AD is paid ONLY in the form of Check (personal, money order, or bank check)
- The balance is due 4 months before the trip departure date. The balance is paid ONLY in the form of Check (personal, money order, or bank check).
- Mail all checks and correspondence to:
- NOTE: If you sign up for a trip within 4 months of the departure date, you pay the deposit of $500 with a credit card and the balance is required to be overnighted in the form of a personal check, money order or bank check.

July 1: Departure from USA.
July 2: Upon arrival, we’re off to tour St. Mary Major, the main Basilica dedicated to Mary in Rome. At the basilica, we will see the remains of Jesus' manger, the tomb of Bernini, the remains of St. Matthew the Evangelist, the tomb of St. Jerome, and the oldest icon in the world of the Virgin Mary painted by St. Luke: the famous Salus Populi Romani. After our tour, there will be time for lunch in the area and we’ll get checked into the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure until our opening dinner at a local restaurant. The tour guide will be available for directions and suggestions. Overnight in Rome.
July 3: Start around 9:00am. Visit the Colosseum, the symbol of the city of Rome; a great building that has been standing since 80 A.D. Next, spend some time exploring the Roman Forum. Then visit St. John Lateran, the first Basilica ever to be built in the Roman Empire. After that we visit the Spanish Steps. This is the place where the Romans hung out. From there we will walk to Trevi Fountain, and have time for shopping. Followed by a walk to the Pantheon, the oldest functional building in the world, and then to the great artistic place of Piazza Navona around 4:30 pm. Dinner at Piazza Navona. Red and white wine included. Casual dress, you set the pace, and plenty of time for shopping and exploring throughout the day. Overnight in Rome.
July 4: Start the day around 9:30 am, by visiting St. Peter's in the Vatican, the largest Basilica in the world. There will be time for shopping before lunch. In the afternoon we will see the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel (the Pope's private Chapel). Long pants, capris, or skirts below the knee, shoulders covered. Time to rest before dinner in the area of the hotel. Red and white wine included. Overnight in Rome.
July 5: After breakfast, depart for Florence. En route stop in the Chianti region for a visit to the Castello di Vicchiomaggio. This is famous for DiVinci’s stay here when he was painting the Mona Lisa. Upon arrival in Florence, see the Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizzi, and the Flea Market. The remainder of the day is at leisure; the tour guide will be available to assist your sightseeing. Dinner in Tuscany. Overnight in Florence.
July 6: After breakfast at the hotel, we will join Chef Luciano at the Mercato Centrale to select the items for our cooking class. Along the way, Chef will tell you how to select the best meat and the freshest fish as well as truffles and other Tuscan delicacies. After we complete our shopping you will travel to a 13th century Tuscan villa, put on your apron and being preparing our menu for the day. Learn to prepare fresh pasta and focaccia. The remainder of the 5-course menu will depend on what is in season, but whatever it is, you will enjoy it with Chianti produced on the estate, lots of laughter and fun. You will leave the class “stuffed” and armed with new recipes and a knowledge of Tuscan food and customs that will impress your friends at your next Italian dinner party. Return to our hotel for overnight in Florence.
July 7: Tour of Venice: an amazing city built on water. Leave for Venice in the morning on our private transportation, estimated time of arrival is 12:00 noon. Visit St. Mark's plaza. Optional: Gondola ride and shopping. Long pants if you intend to go inside St. Mark's. Casual dress if you intend to go on a Gondola ride or spend time shopping and visiting the beautiful streets and bridges of Venice. Tour guide will be available all day to answer questions and assist your sightseeing as needed. Dinner and overnight in Venice.
July 8: After breakfast, enjoy a private open-air boat tour of the Venitian islands, with opportunities to stop and visit each of the islands. Remainder of the day at leisure, your tour guide will be available to assist you with your sightseeing. Dinner and overnight in Venice.
July 9: Our private bus brings us to the airport in Venice to fly back to USA.
Please note: We do our best to ensure that all sites listed in this itinerary will be seen. However, due to scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances beyond our control, sites may be visited on a different day than listed. If this happens it will also necessitate a change in the restaurant for dinner. However, we will never sacrifice the quality of the meal, all restaurants will meet Proximo Travel's very high standards.
