Day 1: Flight from your hometown to Sacramento, CA airport. Upon arrival, you will be met by the tour guide and board your luxury motor coach and depart for Napa Valley for a tour, wine tasting, and dinner. After dinner, enjoy a scenic drive to our hotel in the San Francisco area.
Day 2: After breakfast at the hotel, we will have a tour of San Francisco beginning with the Golden Gate Bridge. Next, we will visit Misión San Francisco de Asís. We will have lunch at Fisherman’s Wharf with a free afternoon to explore the area on your own. We will all meet for dinner at a local restaurant before returning to our hotel for the night.
Day 3: After breakfast we will depart for Monterey, CA. Along the way we will visit the Mission San Jose and the Old Mission San Juan Bautista. Upon arrival in Monterey we will have some free time and dinner at Pebble Beach before going to our hotel nearby.
Day 4: This morning we will have a tour of the Hearst Castle. After lunch we will continue along a coastal drive to Mission San Luis Obispo. We will arrive in Santa Barbara in the late afternoon and check into the hotel before going to dinner then back to the hotel for overnight.
Day 5: Before departing from Santa Barbara, we will visit the Old Mission Santa Barbara. Then, the San Bonaventura Mission before continuing on to Los Angeles. Upon arrival we will have a bus tour of the highlights of the city, dinner, then go to our hotel for the night.
Day 6: After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the Forest Lawn Cemetary and have lunch in the area. In the afternoon we will visit the Crystal Cathedral in Diocese of Orange. Dinner will be enroute back to the hotel for the night.
Day 7: This morning we will have a late start as we depart Los Angeles for San Diego. Along the way we will stop at Mission San Juan Capistrano. Upon arrival in San Diego we will have dinner at a local restaurant before checking into our hotel.
Day 8: This morning we will visit the Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcala. We will spend the remainder of the day at the world famous San Diego Zoo. We will have a late dinner after leaving the zoo before returning to our hotel for the night.
Day 9: Today will be a free day to visit San Diego on your own. The tour guide will be available to help you plan your day or suggest activities. We will all gather for a closing dinner then back to the hotel for the night.
Day 10: The bus will take you to the airport for your return flight home.
Please note: We do our best to ensure that all sites listed in this itinerary will be seen. However, due to scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances beyond our control, sites may be visited on a different day than listed. If this happens it will also necessitate a change in the restaurant for dinner. However, we will never sacrifice the quality of the meal, all restaurants will meet Proximo Travel's very high standards.
