  • Luggage handling (1 suitcase and 1 carry-on per person)
  • Single Supplement (as long as the passengers is willing to room with someone and allows us to provide them with a roommate. If the passenger wants a guaranteed room to of their own, then they have to pay the $1200 single supplement)
  • Remember: Our trips are not more expensive during high season ~ Passengers will never be expected to pay extra for anything while on the trip ~ We always wait for passengers and never leave anyone behind.

Steps For Registration

  1. Call us (855) 842-8001 or register online with a credit card and pay your $500 deposit per person to save your spot. The $500 deposit is part of the total price of the trip.
  2. A $1,000 Additional Deposit (AD) per person is due one month from the registration. The AD is paid ONLY in the form of Check (personal, money order, or bank check).
  3. The balance is due 4 months before the trip departure date. The balance is paid ONLY in the form of Check (personal, money order, or bank check).

  • Trip Itinerary

    October 12, Day 1: Departure from the USA to Rome.

    October 13, Day 2: Arrival. Visit the Basilica of St. Paul outside the Wall where the body of St. Paul is buried. It is the 2nd largest basilica in Rome and the 5th in the world. Proceed to St. Mary Major, the main Basilica dedicated to Mary in Rome. We will see the remains of Jesus' manger, the tomb of Bernini, the remains of St. Matthew the Evangelist, the tomb of St. Jerome, and the oldest icon in the world of the Virgin Mary painted by St. Luke: the famous Salus Populi Romani. We may immerse ourselves in the local culture by attending an Italian Mass at St. Mary Major as well. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

    October 14, Day 3: Start the day around 9:00 am by visiting the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, the Pope's private chapel. Proceed to St. Peter's in the Vatican, the largest Basilica in the world. Lunch. Tour of St. John Lateran (the first Basilica of the Roman Empire) and the Colosseum from the outside. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

    October 15, Day 4: We will have an early start as our private bus leaves around 7:00 am to the Vatican to experience the Audience with the Pope. There will be time for lunch in the Vatican area. After lunch we will visit the Spanish Steps known for the area where the Romans gathered to meet followed by a walk to the Trevi Fountain. We will continue on from there to the Pantheon, the oldest functional building in the world. We will conclude by visiting the great artistic Piazza Navona. DINNER ON YOUR OWN!!! Casual Dress throughout the day. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

    October 16, Day 5: En route to Assisi, stop in Orvieto to see the Eucharistic Miracle in the Duomo and in Loreto where we will tour the Sanctuary and Holy House. Dinner and overnight in Assisi.

    October 17, Day 6: See the tombs of St. Francis, St. Clare, and the body of Blessed Carlo Acutis; enjoy a peaceful walk on the streets of Assisi. Dinner in Tuscany. Overnight in Florence.

    October 18, Day 7: En route to Florence, visit Siena. Enjoy this beautiful medieval city with its center gathered within ancient walls which hold beautiful monuments and museums. We will also visit the Piazza del Campo, Palazzo Comunale and Torre del Mangia, and visit the Duomo which is a majestic example of Romanesque-Gothic Style. Dinner and overnight in Florence.

    October 19, Day 8: Tour of Florence in the region of Tuscany. Tour of the Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizzi, open air Market, Duomo (Cathedral), the Baptistery, Michelangelo's masterpiece, the David. Visit the Basilica of San Lorenzo and the Medici Chapel (where the Medici family was buried), and Basilica della Santa Croce (where Michelangelo and 15 other glorious Italian artists and thinkers were buried). Casual dress throughout the day. Dinner and overnight in Padua.

    October 20, Day 9: Visit St. Anthony of Padua Shrine and thendrive to Salzburg. Explore Salzburg's beautiful streets and historic area. Dinner and overnight in Salzburg.

    October 21, Day 10: Walking tour of Salzburg, a city filled with the beautiful Mirabell Gardens and wondrous architecture. Walk through the Old Town of Salzburg, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with medieval lanes and small shops with ironwork signs out front, the monumental Domplatz, and birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Enjoy the awesome city of Salzburg with lots of beautiful cafes, shopping boutiques, and views of the city. Dinner and overnight in Burgenland/Eisenstadt.

    October 22, Day 11: Tour Burgenland/Eisenstadt. Visit the Esterházy Palace, The Forchtenstein Castle, The Familypark, Parndorf, St. Margarethen, Neusiedl am See, Bergkirche and more. Dinner and overnight in Vienna.

    October 23, Day 12: Enjoy the sights of this exquisite city with a drive on the Ring Strasse to view great buildings such as the Opera House, the Maria Theresa Monument, museum buildings, the Parliament and City Hall. We will also see the former Imperial Palace Hofburg, a complex of buildings from the 13th century and home of the famous Spanish Riding School. Stroll the Stadtpark where you can see the famous gold statue of Strauss, the Kartnerstrasse, the pedestrian shopping street in the heart of the city that leads to the famous gothic St. Stephen’s Cathedral. The afternoon is at leisure for you to relax or explore the city’s historic area.Dinner and overnight in Vienna.

    October 24, Day 13: Fly back home.

    Please note: We do our best to ensure that all sites listed in this itinerary will be seen. However, due to scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances beyond our control, sites may be visited on a different day than listed. If this happens it will also necessitate a change in the restaurant for dinner. However, we will never sacrifice the quality of the meal, all restaurants will meet Proximo Travel's very high standards. Since we have several different trip configurations touring at the same time, it is likely that groups on different tours will be combined when their itineraries overlap in certain areas.
