Steps For Registration

  1. Call us (855) 842-8001 or register online with a credit card and pay your $500 deposit per person to save your spot. The $500 deposit is part of the total price of the trip.
  2. A $1,000 Additional Deposit (AD) per person is due one month from the registration. The AD is paid ONLY in the form of Check (personal, money order, or bank check).
  3. The balance is due 4 months before the trip departure date. The balance is paid ONLY in the form of Check (personal, money order, or bank check).

  • Trip Itinerary

    Day 1: October 3- Friday DALLAS-FORT WORTH / KRAKOW Today we depart Dallas Fort-Worth on our flight to Poland, arriving in Krakow the next morning. Meals are served on board our transatlantic flight.

    Day 2: October 4- Saturday KRAKOW / LAGIEWNIKI / WIELICZKA This morning we arrive in Krakow, which for centuries was the residence of the Polish Kings, and we are met by our Pilgrimage Tours' tour director. We begin our pilgrimage with a drive to Wieliczka for a memorable visit to the Wieliczka Salt Mines. Next, we visit Lagiewniki and the Shrine of Blessed Faustina at the Convent of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy. Here we will pray at the Shrine of Divine Mercy as well as recite the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. We pause for our own celebration of Mass in one of the sanctuary's chapels. Dinner and overnight at the Convent of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy.

    Day 3: October 5- Sunday LAGIEWNIKI / OSWIECIM (AUSCHWITZ) / WADOWICE Following breakfast, we enjoy morning Mass in one of the chapels at the Convent of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy for St. Faustina’s feast day. Next, we drive to Oswiecim to visit the Auschwitz concentration camp where St. Maximilian Kolbe spent the final days of his life and was martyred during World War II. Here we take a guided tour of the grounds prior to visiting the Auschwitz Museum. In the afternoon we drive to Wadowice, the birthplace of Karol Wojtyla, who today is named Saint John Paul II or Saint John Paul the Great. Here we visit his childhood home, today a museum, as well as the Basilica of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary to see the baptismal font where Karol Wojtyla was baptized as an infant. We next enjoy a visit at the favorite childhood shrine of the Holy Father, Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. Known as “Polish Jerusalem”, the sanctuary is one of Poland’s most popular pilgrimage destinations. We return to Lagiewniki for dinner and overnight.

    Day 4: October 6- Monday LAGIEWNIKI / CZESTOCHOWA / NIEPOKALANOW / WARSAW This morning we drive to Częstochowa and enjoy a visit and celebration of Mass in the Jasna Góra Monastery, one of the most famous Marian Shrines in Europe. Here we will see the miraculous icon of Our Lady with the Child Jesus, also known as the Black Madonna. Also venerated as the “Queen of Poland”, it has become the country’s national symbol. In the afternoon we drive to one of the most important places of pilgrimage in Poland, the religious community of Niepokalanow, known as the “City of the Immaculate Mother of God”. Here we visit the Franciscan Friary founded by St. Maximilian Kolbe, as well as the Basilica of St. Mary Immaculate and the Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe, and see the site on which John Paul II celebrated Mass in 1983. Dinner and overnight in Warsaw.

    Day 5: October 7- Tuesday WARSAW / ROME This morning we will visit and celebrate Mass in the Holy Cross Church, followed by a visit to the convent where Blessed Faustina first joined the religious order. After our visit we drive to the airport for our flight to the Eternal City of Rome. Upon our arrival, we drive to Capitoline Hill, where we will enjoy a view of the ancient Roman Forum and see Constantine's Arch, the Arch of Titus, the Circus Maximus and ancient Roman Aqueducts. We stop for some free time outside the famous Colosseum and an opportunity for some picture-taking. Following our visit, we check into our hotel and the remainder of the day is yours for free time. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

    Day 6: October 8- Wednesday ROME – Papal Audience Today we will attend an Audience with the Holy Father to celebrate the 2025 Jubilee year. Following our time with Pope Francis, we enjoy some free time for lunch in Piazza Navona, before visiting the Basilica of St. Mary Major, the most important church in the world devoted to Our Lady, where Mass has been celebrated every day since the 5th century. Later we arrive for a visit and celebration of Mass at the Basilica of St. John Lateran, the bishop of Rome’s cathedral church which contains relics of the heads of Sts. Peter and Paul. Following Mass at St. John's, we cross the street to visit the church of the Scala Santa. Here we see the Holy Staircase of 28 marble steps (now covered in wood) which is believed to be a staircase from Pilate’s palace in Jerusalem and brought to Rome by St. Helen in the 4th century. Next, we visit St. Mary Major; the most important church in the world devoted to Our Lady, where Mass has been celebrated every day since the 5th century. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

    Day 7: October 9 - Thursday ROME This morning we visit one of the great art collections in the world, the Vatican Museums, its rooms wonderfully frescoed by Raphael. Our tour culminates with Michelangelo’s masterpiece, the Sistine Chapel, which was recently restored to its original splendor. Next, we enjoy a tour of St. Peter's Basilica, where we see a young Michelangelo's wonderful Pieta followed by a visit to the Tombs of the Popes in the Vatican Grottos. Following free time for lunch near St. Peter's Square, we enjoy a guided tour of the Vatican Necropolis, housing the remains of St. Peter and located under the Altar of Saint Peter's Basilica. During our tour, we will visit the Tomb of Saint Peter. Next, we visit the Church of the Gesu’, mother church of the Jesuit Order, which contains the remains of its founder St. Ignatius of Loyola. Our day concludes with a celebration of Mass at the main altar of Santa Maria della Scala, where we will also visit the tomb of Cardinal Francois-Xavier Nguyen Van Thuan, Servant of God. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

    Day 8: October 10- Friday ROME / POMPEII / SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO Today we drive to Pompeii, famous for its destruction due to the volcanic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the year 79 AD. Pompeii was “lost” for nearly 1,700 years before it was rediscovered by archaeologists in the mid-18th century. Here we will explore the archeological site and ruins of the Roman city destroyed by Mount Vesuvius. Following a visit and celebration of Mass at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, we continue onto San Giovanni Rotondo, the home town of Padre Pio, who was made a saint in 2002 by Pope John Paul II. Dinner and overnight in San Giovanni Rotondo.

    Day 9: October 11- Saturday SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO / MONTE SANT’ANGELO This morning we will visit Monte Sant'Angelo, one of the most ancient of Christian shrines, dedicated to the Archangel Michael who appeared here in the 5th and 8th centuries. Late morning, we arrive in San Giovanni Rotondo, the home to Blessed Padre Pio, who was made a saint in 2002 by Pope John Paul II. Here we learn of the extraordinary life and reputation for sanctity of the Franciscan Padre Pio da Pietralcina, who lived, labored, and in 1968 died here. Here we will learn about Saint Pio's life and works from the Franciscan Friars and visit the Saint Pio Church and the beautiful mosaic crypt that houses a glass reliquary containing Saint Pio's body. Overnight in San Giovanni Rotondo.

    Day 10: October 12– Sunday SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO / LANCIANO / ROME Today we bid farewell to San Giovanni Rotondo and drive to Lanciano where a priest who was doubtful about the Real Presence, during his celebration of Mass, witnessed the host had turned into flesh and the wine into blood. We celebrate Mass in the Church of San Francesco, the Sanctuary of the Eucharistic Miracle. We continue to Rome, where upon our arrival, we check into our hotel. Our day concludes with a visit to the Church of Our Lady of Victory, housing Bernini's glorious statue The Ecstasy of Saint Teresa. This evening we enjoy our “farewell dinner” at Ristorante La Carovana. Overnight in Rome.

    Day 11: October 13- Monday ROME / DALLAS-FORT WORTH Following breakfast, we transfer to Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Fiumicino for our return flight to the United States. Though our pilgrimage draws to a close, its blessings will last a lifetime and its graces are certain to draw us closer to the Lord.

    Please note: We do our best to ensure that all sites listed in this itinerary will be seen. However, due to scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances beyond our control, sites may be visited on a different day than listed. If this happens it will also necessitate a change in the restaurant for dinner. However, we will never sacrifice the quality of the meal, all restaurants will meet Proximo Travel's very high standards. Since we have several different trip configurations touring at the same time, it is likely that groups on different tours will be combined when their itineraries overlap in certain areas.
